This is a USA-only campaign.
Please check the International Availability for how to back the game in the territories in which we have a commercial partner.
If you are not located in any of these territories, we recommend that you contact the partner located closest to you and ask if they can deliver to your location.
Some backers not located in the USA or partner territories have found it useful to use services that allow you to have a mailbox in the USA and forward items to themselves.

How does the LudiCredit (Loyalty Discount) work?
Basically, we give you $1 off per campaign you have backed in the past!
Here are the basics:

You must have backed the So, You’ve Been Cursed. campaign on Kickstarter before it ends.

You must have backed for the Collector Edition pledge level. We wish we could it for everyone, but this is where we can both afford it and make the most impact for loyal backers.

A maximum of $5 in total discount will be applied.

The discount can be used as credit within Backerkit, to cover shipping costs and/or add-ons.
-
The discount will appear automatically in your Backerkit account when we apply it, after surveys have been sent.
The above should be self-explanatory, but here’s some more detail:

The discount is only valid for backers of this campaign that have backed at the Collector Edition pledge level by the end of the campaign. You could back for $1 and upgrade before the end of the campaign and therefore still be eligible. Unfortunately, we can not do the same discount for anyone who later upgrades their pledge level (or pre-orders the Collector Edition) after the end of the campaign. This is both practical (we can only assign this discount en masse once), and in principle fair to those who support us earlier.

The credit can not be redeemed as cash. It can be used to pay for add-ons and shipping.

The credit will remain in your Backerkit cart until you use it, or until we close down the Backerkit pledge manager.

We again chose to do this without limitation as to how far in the past you backed a campaign - this may change if we do this again. We may also limit it to newsletter subscribers. Or to backers of a specific campaign. Hey, it’s free money.

Yes, new-to-LudiCreations backers backing this campaign are not included in this. But, if you are new and we continue to do this, you would also receive a $1 discount in a future LudiCreations campaign, for having backed this one.

We also know that $1 (per campaign, to a maximum of $5) may not seem like a lot, but it is, for us, when you consider the number of backers. And in any case, it is what we can do for now.

Why is the quantity of Collector edition copies limited?
We need to control our freight costs. The optimal freight unit is a container.
The campaign has launched with a limit on the quantity of Collector editions that can fit in one 20’ container. Depending on how the campaign goes, we may increase that limit by upgrading to a 40’ container.
Any increase will be in sets of games that fit on a pallet, and the final quantity will not be double the current one, as the bigger the shipment, the more we need to allocate space to spare parts, promos and retail editions.
An increased limited quantity of Collector editions may be separated to a “Wave 2” pledge level to allow us to send it in a 2nd 20’ container, rather than a bigger 40’ container, if the delivery date of the first Collector copies would be at risk. All costs (game, shipping, add-ons) would be the same as for Wave 1 - only the date would be different.
The reason why the retail edition is not limited is that the Collector edition has a much bigger box, is expected to have the most backers, and is the most expensive one to make. That determines the need to allocate guaranteed space to it before the retail edition.

What about add-ons?
The only expected add-ons are: - The game itself (Retail and Collector editions) - The Weird Livestock promo, for 5 USD (note that it is already included in the Collector edition) - So, You’ve Been Eaten. games and promos - On the Underground games and promos
Please note that the availability of add-ons is not guaranteed. They will be fulfilled while supplies last.
The availability of add-ons may change by the time fulfillment has commenced. We will refund or offer an alternative if we are not able to deliver an add-on. I would like to support the game, but I am not able to right now. Can I do it later?
We want to see this game produced and fulfilled as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Therefore we will only produce the number of copies needed for this campaign, in addition to a number of copies that are needed to maximize the space of a container.
A limited number of games will be available for pre-order. Note that those pre-orders will have higher shipping costs.
Backing the campaign at the $1 pledge level will not give access to the pledge manager.

How about comments?
Please read the backer updates and FAQs. Many times the information you seek is already there.
If you need an update on your pledge, send us a message via Kickstarter. We can not ask for personal information in a public forum, and we can not resolve your issue via the comments page. Sending a message is also a way to have an easily accessible common record of what was discussed, since anything posted in the comments page is easily buried.
Do not make disparaging comments about other backers. Harassment, name-calling and breaches of these rules or common standards of decency are not welcome.
Please do not presume to speak for the majority in order to get something you want - it is easier to just ask us in a message.
Politeness and flexibility will get you much, much farther than going straight to aggression, demands and negativity. Backing a game entitles you to receive that game in exchange for money. It does not entitle you to cause stress or annoyance at anyone else, including other backers and creators.

Can I get a refund?
All potential refunds of campaign funds and shipping costs are given at the discretion of LudiCreations, reserving the right to withhold transaction & processing fees.
As stipulated by the rules of this platform, a refund may be given in the event of LudiCreations having determined that it would not be possible to provide campaign rewards to the satisfaction of a backer.
A refund of 100% of the pledge amount can be provided upon request up to 1 week after the end of the campaign. A 90% refund of the pledge amount can be provided upon request after 1 week after the end of the campaign and before the fulfillment process has commenced.
Pledge refunds are processed by Kickstarter, to the original card charged, and if the card has changed, then must be refunded via alternate methods, with transaction fees deducted from the refunded amount. Shipping costs are not refundable after the game has been shipped.

My game is damaged or incomplete - what do I do?
We guarantee that the product you receive will be complete and all internal components are functional - and we will replace any that are not, free of charge.
We understand that all backers want to receive boxes in pristine condition; however, the realities of shipping can sometimes make this difficult. We will do our best to ensure that your package arrives in good condition, but due to the unavailability of spare empty boxes and difficulty in replacing them in a way that ensures their arrival in mint condition, we may not be able to replace boxes with cosmetic damage.
Please do not pledge to this campaign with the goal of reselling our games, at a profit or otherwise.

While we will post updates and send out reminders, it is the responsibility of the backer to complete the address & add-on survey in a timely manner, and to make sure the address is correct at the time of fulfillment, including updating it when asked.

My game arrived when I was not there and was returned. Can you send me another?

Rewards that have been marked as delivered by the shipping services provider in their tracking website are considered fulfilled. If you are expecting to be absent, you need to contact us so we can hold your package back, or enter a friend’s or relative’s address.
If a package is not received due to failure to accept or pick up a package on arrival, shipping costs are not refunded, and will need to be paid again for the rewards to be shipped again, provided that the package is returned.
Such shipping costs may be higher than the original, subsidized shipping costs originally paid as part of the campaign.

It looks like the package with my game appears to be lost, what do we do now?

If you are expecting to be absent, you need to contact us so we can hold your package back, or enter a friend’s or relative’s address.
Should your rewards go missing, we will ask our fulfillment partners to investigate. This usually takes some time, sometimes weeks or even months after a report. In some cases, the carrier determines that the package has lost and refunds us. In this case, we will refund or reship your rewards.
Note that we can not be held responsible for any package that is reported by carrier tracking as delivered but has been stolen from your door. If this happens, please report the theft to your local authorities, local delivery carrier, and insurance provider.
An undelivered reward needs to be reported to us within 3 months of the date it was shipped. We are not able to locate, compensate for, refund, or reship any reward that is reported after that time.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
